Description:

A Day at Kelly’s Island-Saturday August 25th

The short blast of the ferry boat horn signals the start of your adventure. In just twenty minutes the fresh crisp breezes and sparkling blue water take you to the lush greenery of an enchanting island. Kelley’s Island is located in the western basin of Lake Erie about four miles north of Marblehead and twelve miles from Sandusky on the Ohio mainland. The entire island measures more than four square miles and is the largest fresh water American island in Lake Erie. A short drive from major cities makes Kelley’s seem right next door, yet the Canadian Border lies only a few miles north of the island.

Please join me for a fun day on Kelly’s Island. Things to see & do: bike or golf cart rental to get around the Island. View the Glacier groves, go shopping for unique items, swim at the sandy beach, eat at one of the many restaurants, drinking at one of the many bars or at the brewery or sample some island wines at the winery, or just relaxing and people watching. I plan on being at ferry around 9:30/10 am. If you want to meet-up, give me a call on my cell. Lisa Ferenc
