The Lewis Ski Club has been active in the Cleveland, Ohio community since it was founded in 1980. The club was orignially formed to serve the needs of the then NASA Lewis Research Center. Today the club has evolved to include membership for all individuals (to include non-NASA employees) and to serve the needs of all the local Cleveland, Ohio communities. The Lewis Ski Club operates as a nonprofit corporation; all of our officers, committee chairs, trip leaders and activity organizers are volunteers. The Lewis Ski Club is a contributing member of the Cleveland Metro Ski Council.
General club meetings for the Lewis Ski Club are held on the first Tuesday of the Month (except May and July). Social hour begins at 5:00 pm. Call to order is at 6:00 pm, with the business portion of the meeting being completed by about 7:00 pm. There is usually a scheduled activity or presentation during the meeting. The August meeting is typically combined with the annual club picnic and is therefore located at an alternate venue.
