Directions:
Albion Woods picnic area is off Albion Road in Mill Stream Run Reservation (Cleveland Metroparks), east of Valley Parkway in Strongsville, OH.  From Valley Parkway, turn right on Albion Rd.  Continue about 1/3 mile, and the entrance to Albion Woods picnic area will be on the left.
Note that Albion Rd is closed from the North, so you must enter from Valley Pkwy.

Lewis Ski Club Picnic on Tuesday, August 2, 2011

The annual Lewis Ski Club picnic was held at Albion Woods, Mill Steam Run in the Cleveland Metro parks located off Parkway in Strongsville with over 75 people in attendance.  People started arriving around 4:30 pm to wet their whistle, snack and socialize with the dinner served around 6:00 pm.  We feasted on Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, BBQ Pulled Pork and Chicken with plenty of sides & dessert to fill us up.  Food provided by Smith’s catering from Avon (which was very good).  We had a short club meeting and nice presentations of the week long trips were shown to get people to sign up.  More socializing was done and corn hole games played, but by the time dusk came, people made a hasty retreat due to the mosquitoes feasting on us!
