Officer: President

The President, who must be a full-time NASA Civil Service employee, will preside at all meetings of the club and the Executive Board. The President shall, in general, act as the chief executive of the Board. The President shall appoint chairmen of all committees except the Nominating Committee and shall be a standing member of all committees and shall perform all duties incident on the office of President. The President shall promote publication and review of the Guidebook on an annual basis. It shall be the responsibility of the president of the club to see that the statement of continued existence is properly filed with the Office of the Secretary of State of Ohio every five (5) years.

Specific duties:

• Presides over all meetings of the club
• Presides over all meetings of the Executive Board,
• Appoints committee chairpersons,
• Writes monthly newsletter column,
• (also authorized to sign club checks)

Incumbent spends about 10 hours a month on these duties.
