MARK YOUR CALENDARS and PLAN TO ATTEND the AUGUST CLUB PICNIC & Meeting at Albion Woods. This is an annual event and a great opportunity to catch up with your snow friends, hear about our trips for 2027 and make plans for 2028.  We are grilling our own club provided chicken or steak again. If you have joined our annual picnic meeting in the past then you are aware that we ask everyone to bring something to share. We have offered some guidance below as what type of dish to bring. We encourage you to bring your own dinnerware, silverware, and tableclothes in an effort to reduce waste.Not to mention that steak on a paper plate just isn't fun. We will however have paper products available should you forget to bring them. This year we are happy to welcome Paul Cody, recording artist who will entertain the club with a few of his recent songs. We will have swag and several great Door Prizes!

Cost: $12/$12/$15 (Chicken/Beyond Burger/Steak), Children under 5 yrs of age are free (hot dogs available upon advance request).

Food: The club will provide steak or chicken or Beyond Burger, all necessary grill items, pop and water and dessert. The club will not be providing beer or wine. You are encouraged to BYOB. If you'd like a certain seasoning or sauce for your meal, please bring your own. We are asking people to bring a dish to share for approximately 6-8 people. If your last name falls with in A thru M please bring an appetizer with N through Z bring a hot or cold side dish. The club is providing dessert. No desserts please.

Location: Albion Woods picnic area.

The picnic goes on, rain or shine. There is a picnic pavilion and indoor seating in case of rain.

Directions:

Albion Woods picnic area is off Albion Road in Mill Stream Run Reservation (Cleveland Metroparks), east of Valley Parkway in Strongsville, OH. From Valley Parkway, turn right on Albion Rd. Continue about 1/3 mile, and the entrance to Albion Woods picnic area will be on the left. There is roadwork in the area that could effect your travel.
