Sunday Hike in the CVNP

Hike in the CVNP Sunday June 13th 9:30 am. We will be hiking portions of the Ledges Trail but will be meeting at the Octogan Picnic area parking lot located at 500 Truxell Rd Peninsula OH 44264. This hike may have some steeper ups and downs /steps but they are short and it will be worth it. According to my CVNP trail expert, this trail is beautiful and people really like it! 

Feel free to bring your hiking sticks if you think you might need them, plus water, and sunscreen and bug spray (although I plan to bring some)

Directions: Please note that Akron-Peninsula Road is closed from Truxell Rd to Rte 303. 

From Wheatley Rd turn right on to Riverview Rd, left on Bolanz Rd, Left on Akron Peninsula Rd and then right on to Truxell Road then a left turn into the long access driveway into the Octagon parking lot. 

From Old Route 8/Akron-Cleveland Road turn right onto Kendall Park Rd / Truxell Rd, stay on Truxell Rd after you pass the Ledges parking lot’s driveway, then turn right to the long access driveway to the Octagon parking lot.
